Audacity“ is selected, the program will start .

This action is required if you want to
use recording to MP3 format .

Load the “lame_enc .dll“ file from the internet .
Click on “Download“ .

Move the file into the Audacity Installation
Directory .

Start “Audacity” by double clicking on the
program symbol on your desktop, or select the
relevant item in your start menu .

Select the menu item “Preferences“ in the “Edit“
menu .

Select “Devices“ .

Change the following settings in the area
“Recording“:
– Channel: “2 (stereo)“

Select the option “Listen to new tracks during
reproduction“ if you wish the record player to
play back during recording .
The option “USB Audio CODEC“ is only available
if you have correctly connected the record player
before you start the program .

Select the tab “Libraries“ .

Click on “Locate . . .“ .
