Programming the appliance
♦
Press the
button for 2 seconds to switch the appliance on. The control
lamp of the
button lights up red and
appears on the display .
♦
Press one of the temperature buttons .
°C is shown on the display
as the preset temperature. This is not the current temperature. Additionally
:
(one hour) appears on the display .
♦
Set the desired water temperature at which the food is to be cooked using
the temperature selection buttons
. The selected temperature
is shown on the display . You can set values between
°C and
°C.
♦
Set the desired time period for which the food is to be cooked using the
time selection buttons
. You can set the time accurate to the
minute between 1 minute and 24 hours. You can set the time in fast mode
by pressing the time selector keys
for a longer period.
♦
Press the
button to start the programme. The current water
temperature is shown on the display .
NOTE
►
The
symbol on the display shows that the water is now being heated
to the set temperature.
►
As soon as the set temperature is reached, you will hear a beep.
Additionally the symbol appears on the display and the time counts
down a minute at a time on the display .
♦
As soon as the programmed time has elapsed, you will hear three beeps
and
appears on the display . The display will go out after a
short period of time.
♦
Press the
button for approx. 2 seconds to switch off the appliance.
♦
Remove the lid . When doing so, try to ensure that as much as possible of
the condensation on the underside of the lid runs into the water container
.
♦
Remove the food using a suitable kitchen implement (e.g. kitchen or barbecue
tongs) from the water container .
♦
Remove the plug from the mains power socket.
♦
Cut open the vacuum bag and remove the food. Depending on the food,
it can served immediately or must be prepared further (e.g. briefly fried).
