To collect / cleave products, place the appropriate collection rack / plate inside the Vacuum Collection Base (Figure 35). Place the SiliCycle MiniBlock
on top of the Vacuum Collection Base, ensuring proper alignment of locating pins. Open the valve and turn on the vacuum to collect products into
the rack / plate (Figure 36). The Vacuum Collection Base can be connected through a trap flask to a vacuum. Drainage can also be accelerated by
applying gas pressure to the top of the Reaction Tubes (see section 5.1.2 Accelerating Solvent Drainage).

The SiliCycle MiniBlock is designed to be a flexible platform for product collection. Collection racks are available to accommodate most
common container types and sizes, available from SiliCycle. Deep well plates are also available. (See Table 4).
The following general rules govern collection rack use and selection:
• Collection racks are available in 48, 24, 12 and 6-Positions configurations.
• Collection racks are available in only Red or Blue. For 48-Positions SiliCycle MiniBlocks, the corresponding Blue or Red collection rack
is chosen. For 24, 12 and 6-Positions SiliCycle MiniBlocks, a Red or Blue collection rack is chosen, depending on the color
of the SiliCycle MiniBlock base.
