Intended use
The VO is only intended to be used for measurement of liquid volumes or volumetric flow
rates.
The device is only intended to be applied with the media which is compatible with the combi-
nation of materials being used. The operator must ensure that the materials used (wetted
parts) of the device compared with the measured liquid are chemically resistant.
WARNING! No safety component!
The oval gear flow meter of the series VO is not a safety component in accordance with
Directive 2006-42-EC (Machine Directive).
Never use the VO as a safety component.
The operational safety of the device supplied is only guaranteed by intended use. The speci-
fied limits (
§ 10 "Technical data") may under no circumstances be exceeded
Before ordering and installation, check that the VO and its material combinations is suitable
for your applications.

Warranty and exclusion of liability
Please refer the contractual terms and conditions relating to delivery for the scope and peri-
od of warranty.
Warranty claims shall be conditional to correct installation and commissioning in accordance
with the operating instructions of the device.
We accept no liability for any damage or malfunctions resulting from incorrect installation,
in-appropriate use of the device or failure to follow the instructions in this operating manual.
