6.4
Setting of parameters
The properties and values of the FMP1 are set in the main menu. The switching points and
hysteresis values can be set directly. The other parameters are set in a password protected
area.
In measuring mode, press and hold the SET key for longer than 3 s to access the main
menu. The first parameter and its current setting are displayed.
Use the
and
keys to change the value or property of the selected parameter.
The
ENTER
key saves the setting or property and displays the next parameter. After the
final parameter the device returns to measuring mode.

Main menu
Switching points:
Set the sign of the selected switching point.
SP1P / SP2P = positive sign (+) ; SP1n / SP2n = negative sign (-).
Set the value of the selected switching point.
Value range: 0000…9999.
When the current reading reaches the set switching point, the corresponding relay output
switches and the associated LED indicator lights up.
When the device is switched on, the switching points are activated only after the reading dis-
play has stabilised.
Hysteresis:
Set the hysteresis value for the selected switching point.
Value range: 000…999.
When the current reading reaches the switch-off threshold, the corresponding relay output
switches back and the associated LED indicator goes dark.
Switch-off threshold = switching point value – hysteresis value:
e.g. SP1P = 1000, HY 1 = 10: SP1 switch-off threshold = (1000-10) = 990.
