Hot-Plugging Hard Disk Drives
To remove a drive from a powered up system, do the
following.

Open Windows Device Manager.
2.
Double click
Disk Drives
, right click the target disk
and select
Disable
. The drive can be unplugged
when it no longer appears.
3.
When re-plugging the same drive, repeat steps 1-2,
and select
Enable
instead of
Disable
.
