Note:
Press the
MICROWAVE
button during cooking or pause in cooking if you
need to check the set power. You can extend the cooking time during
cooking by pressing repeatedly the button
START/QUICK START
for up to
95 minutes. If you need to set 100% power, skip step #1 above.
Defrosting by weight
The defrosting time and power are determined automatically according to the insert-
ed weight.
1. While the microwave oven is in the standby mode, press repeatedly the
DEFROST
button until the display shows the required weight.
2. Or press the
DEFROST
button once and use the /– buttons to set weight
between 100 g to 1 800 g.
3. Press the
START/QUICK START
button and the oven will start. During defrosting,
the oven stops and an audible warning sounds. This means removing food,
checking it, rearranging it and removing thawed pieces if necessary. Press the
START/QUICK START
button and the oven will start again.
Automatic cooking
The microwave oven is pre-set to prepare the most commonly used types of food. In
automatic cooking programmes, there is no need to set the cooking time or power.
Simply choose the type of food you want to prepare, its weight or the number of serv-
ings.
1. While the microwave oven is in the standby mode, press repeatedly the
MENU
button and select the food type code – more in the table below.
2. Use the
/–
buttons to set weight or the number of portions.
3. Press the
START/QUICK START
button once.

depends on factors such as the
size and shape of the food, and

Child lock
The child lock allows you to lock the control buttons to prevent the microwave oven
from accidentally starting from idle or adjusting the settings.
Lock activation: While the oven is in standby mode and you do not make any settings
within 1 minute, the oven automatically activates the child lock function. All the but-
tons will be disabled.
Lock deactivation: Opening or closing the door cancels the child lock.
