29. Do not use the microwave outdoors or expose it to the elements.
30. Before connecting the appliance to power supply, make sure that the
voltage indicated on the it type plate corresponds to the voltage in the
power outlet. Only connect the appliance to a properly grounded outlet.
31. Do not place the microwave oven on window sills, counter drip tray or on
unstable surfaces. Always place it on a stable, level and dry surface.
32. Do not use corrosive chemicals or fumes in the microwave oven. Do not
use the microwave oven for industrial or laboratory purposes.
33. Do not run the microwave oven empty.
34. Do not use the microwave oven if the power cord or plug is damaged, if
the microwave oven is not working properly, if it is damaged or if it has
fallen.
35. Kitchen utensils can become hot due to heat transfer from heated food.
Sometimes you may need to use protective gloves.
36. Do not use the cooking utensils and gadgets listed below in the
microwave oven:
‐ metal pans or utensils with metal handles or metal decoration;
‐ clamps on plastic bags;
‐ dishes with a melanin coating;
‐
common thermometers, used e.g. to measure the temperature of
meat, etc.
37. Never use the microwave oven in the immediate vicinity of a bath,
shower or swimming pool.
38. Pierce foods with skins, such as potatoes, pumpkin, apples or chestnuts,
several times with a fork or knife before heating them in the microwave.
39. Do not damage the safety door closing system.
40. Do not attempt to use the microwave with the door open. You could
expose yourself to harmful microwaves.
41. Do not fry food in the microwave. Hot oil can damage parts of the oven,
cookware, or even cause skin burns.
42. Take extra care when handling heated beverages and food, as hot steam
may be released.
43. Before moving the oven, always make sure that the turntable is removed
or securely locked in the interior of the oven. Otherwise, damage could
result.
44. Do not use the oven without a properly installed turntable.
45. When you are not using the oven, do not leave paper materials, kitchen
utensils or food inside.
46. Keep the inside of the oven clean. If the oven walls are stained with food
juices, wipe them with a damp cloth. If the oven is more heavily soiled,
you can use a weak solution of neutral kitchen detergent.
