After the adjustment has been made succes s-
fully, the current soiling level is indicated by a
flash code on the LED:
1. The LED goes out for five seconds.
2. The flash code indicates the current soiling
level.
3. A second phase where the LED goes out
for five seconds indicates that the code is fi-
nished.
If the LED flashes more than five times, then
the soiling level is too high. The VisGuard 2
must be cleaned according to the servicing
schedule.
4. Remove the checking unit.
A: Adjustment flashes approxi-
mately 10 times in one-second in-
tervals.
B: Flash code key:
Flashes zero times = clean
Flashes up to ten times = soiling
limit reached
5.
Remove the checking unit and reattach the
protective casing.
6.
Reattach the protection cover, heater or hose
to the sample inlet.
7.
The instrument can now be operated again.
