Cleaning the sample inlet
Cleaning is necessary when deposits in the sample inlet ca use a displacement of the zero
point or an unstable measuring value.
The following procedure describes how to clean the sample inlet:
CAUTION!
Soiling of the optics due to improper cleaning of the sample inlet.
Using brushes or pipe cleaners when cleaning the sample inlet can lead to soiling of the op-
tics in the VisGuard 2.
WORKSTEP
ADDITIONAL INFO / IMAGES
1.
In-situ: Remove the protection cover or heater
from the sample inlet.
Warning: The heater can be very hot af-
ter operation and may cause burns.
Extractive: Remove the hose from the sample
inlet.
2.
Clean the sample inlet with a damp cloth.
3.
Reattach the protection cover, heater or hose
to the sample inlet.
4.
The instrument can now be operated again.
