Opening the sealed front door
To open the front door, it is necessary to break the seal. The seal is evidence
that the instrument has not be altered (requirement of IMO MEPC-107[49]).
The seal may be renewed only by authorized persons (service engineers). The
operator may remove the seal only in exceptional cases (e.g. light source
replacement).
