Default Language
Most DVD movies support multi-lingual audio. Choose a default
language with this menu. If the chosen default language is not available
on a DVD title, DVD Station will use the default language on that
particular DVD, which may differ depending on the origin of the disc.
Preferred Display Mode
Wide: Enables 16:9 widescreen format display.
Pan and Scan: Enables 16:9 source to be displayed in 4:3, with the
picture trimmed on the left and right sides. Some image loss will occur.
Letterbox: Enables 16:9 source to be displayed in 4:3, with black bars
placed above and below the picture. No data loss occurs.
Note 19.
Make sure the password is something you can remember or record it
in a secret place. If you forget the password, you must reinstall the DVD
Station software to enter a new password.
Note 20.
This feature only works for DVD titles that support Rating Control.
Most DVD movie titles do not use this voluntary rating system. You cannot
rely upon this feature to prevent your children from viewing objectionable
titles. The only way to prevent children from playing such movies is to
physically keep those movies away from children.
Note 21.
You must restart the movie after changing the Default Language in
order for it to take effect.
