Process air channel
In the heat pump dryer the process air flows through the drum (1), the fluff filter (2)
and the evaporator (3). From the evaporator the process air is conveyed further to
the condenser (4) and flows through the fan (process air) (5) and the process air
duct (6) back into the drum.

Function
The process air circuit for the heat pump dryer is a closed system.
The process air is heated for the condenser by the heat generated in the heat
pump circuit. It is blown by the fan (process air) into the drum where it absorbs
moisture and is conveyed through the fluff filter in the door to the evaporator.
The moisture condenses on the cold fins of the evaporator and is collected in the
condensate container. The process air flows further into the condenser and the
process air cycle starts all over again.
