7. Close any unused opening in the enclosure with a blanking plug.
8. Connect the equipotential bonding conductor to the outside of the enclosure.
Use shielded cable lugs.
9. Close the cover of the SIWAREX DB according to the tightening torque 1.5 to 2 Nm.

Condition
You require a screwdriver with a maximum blade width of 2.5 mm.
You can use the SIWAREX cable for supply voltage and RS-485 communications. Ordering
Procedure
1. Place the cable shield in the EMC cable gland over a large area.

2. For plastic cable glands, connect the corresponding wire of the SIWAREX load cell to the
shield terminal.
3. Strip the cable ends at least 6 mm.
