DANGER
A falling loading platform can result in death, severe injury or damage to
equipment depending on exposure.
•
Insert the oscillation housing (13) into the load cell (3). The arrow on the front of
the load cell indicates the direction of measurement.
•
Install the retaining ring (12) in the groove of the oscillation housing (13).
•
Lie the spacer bar (2) on the base plate (1) so that both holes are aligned with the
threaded holes in the base plate (1) and so that it is even. The spacer bar (2) is
asymmetrical.
•
Put the load cell (3) on the spacer bar (2) using 2x hexagon bolts (5) and 2x
washers (4).
•
Tighten 2x hexagon bolts (5) with 110 Nm (0,5 t, 1 t, 2 t), or 540 Nm (5 t). Do not
use the load cell as leverage when tightening the bolts as this can cause damage
to the load cell.
•
Smear the ball surface of the pendulum bolt (16) with bearing grease and insert it
into the oscillation housing (13).
•
Set the top plate (18) on the pendulum bolt (16).
•
Screw the countersunk bolts (9) into the base plate (1) and tighten the lower nut
(6).
•
Loosen nut (7) from nut (6), turn it upwards on the threads and tighten against
the top plate (18). This optimally centers the top plate over the base plate,
pressure is relieved on the load cell and it is protected against overloading during
the installation.
