Transporting with crane or fork-lift truck
Transporting with packing
Transport the transport unit to the installation site or storage location
• with a fork-lift truck or
• with fixing gear suspended from a crane
- at a sling angle of approx. 60° or
- with a cross-member.
After receipt of delivery:
Checking the transport
unit
• Check the transport unit for damage.
• Major damage must be documented photographically.
• Ensure that any damage to the transport unit is confirmed by the transport com-
pany in writing.
Unpacking
Working materials
Required tools:
- Knife/scissors
- Lifting equipment with lifting gear
- Pliers or lever.

CAUTION
Risk of injury from sharp edges!
Fasteners may break and have sharp edges.
Always use a suitable tool to lever out fasteners.
Note
Damaging the transport belt straps
The belt straps may be severed on the pallet floor when cutting open the carton.
• The vacuum circuit-breaker is attached to the pallet with belt straps. The vac-
uum circuit-breaker must not be transported on the pallet without belt straps
(see Fig. 3 and Fig. 4).
• Keep carton for reuse.
