SIMATIC IPC277E with HMI App used in SINAMICS Perfect Harmony GH150 MV converters is by
default protected by Microsoft Defender Anti-Virus, Application Whitelisting (set in Windows
Application Firewall), malicious software removal tool for Windows and further comprehensive
hardening measures. The functionalities and compatibilities have been fully tested before the
delivery.

In case additional security and network monitoring software, on own demand of the user, is
required, Siemens guarantees neither its functionalities nor compatibility with other Siemens
installed softwares in SIMATIC IPC277E. In this case, the user takes the full responsibility for
cybersecurity for SIMATIC IPC277E (including all installed softwares).
