7.1
General
Removable storage devices are necessary for Image, HMI App or Windows security patches
installation and update. It is the users' responsibility to ensure all removable storage devices are
virus-free and no harm to the operator panel system. Any potential security incidents are
detected, an incident handling process will be initiated. For security reasons, refer to the section
entitled "Security recommendations (Page 8)" for any removable storage handling.

Image installation

Image installation
Create iso file
It is recommended to use Rufus to burn the iso file to an USB stick. Following tools are required.
• Rufus V3.18 or higher version – the latest version can be found here: https://rufus.ie/
• An USB stick with more than 16 GB of storage
• The ISO file, can be obtained from Pridanet (https://pridanet.siemens.com/PridaWeb/
Download/Download.aspx?ctrl=431620)
Start Rufus program. Select your USB stick in "Device" selection pulldown menu, and select
the iso file downloaded from Pridanet in the "Boot selection" field. And the "File system"
should be NTFS. Click "Start" button.
