Using the Trusted Platform Module
The TPM can be used in Windows with the "BitLocker" drive encrypter.
The Windows operating system is installed in UEFI mode in the delivery state for this purpose.
It is not possible to use BitLocker under Window Embedded operating systems because these
are installed in MBR mode.
To use BitLocker, follow the relevant instructions in the operating system.
Note
Risk of data loss
If you lose the password for the drive encryption, you will not be able to restore the data. You
will then lose accesss to the encrypted drive.
The warranty does not cover a reset of the hardware in the event of a loss of a password.
Please store the password carefully and make sure it is protected against unauthorized
access.
