5.1
Configuring the ET 200R
Introduction
The channels of the ET 200R take their functionality from the parameters.
The following possibilities exist.
•
Digital input/output on pins 2 and 4 of plug connectors X0 to X3
•
Digital input on pins 2 and 4 of plug connectors X4 to X7
Configuration
The process image (PI) offers 2 bytes for inputs and 1 byte for outputs for the data
transmission. Input and output areas may not have the same address in the pro-
cess image.
Table 5–1 graphically shows the allocation of the digital inputs/outputs on the
ET 200R to the bits of the inputs/outputs in the process image.
