2. Step: Position access points and determine the network
coverage
Insert the planned access points, select the antennae and align them. Determine
the planned access point's WLAN range:
3. Step: Simulate the WLAN devices and visualize the quality
of the signal
Use the simulation to check the range, signal intensity, interference of all the
WLAN devices and possible overlaps of the access points.
4. Step: Adapt the plan
Vary the arrangement of the access points until the required WLAN range is
covered to optimum effect.

Split the wireless networks
into multiple radio cells in
order to obtain an interfe-
rence-free radio network and
to make optimum use of the
radio ranges. Each cell then
only has one active transmit-
ter with at least one Mobile
Panel. The access points are
the link that connects the
radio cells to the Ethernet.
