Earthing the device
The relevant symbol on the device identifies the terminal for the earth connection.

Cable lug for M4

Protective conductor or equipotential-bonding cable with minimum cross-section 2.5 mm

Procedure
The figure below shows the connection of a protective conductor in a built-in unit. Proceed
the same way as you would when connecting an equipotential-bonding cable in a built-in unit
or the PRO device.
1.
Clamp the cable lug onto the
ground cable:
–
PE conductor: yellow-green,
as depicted.
–
Equipotential bonding: black
2.
Using the M4 screw, firmly attach
the cable lug to the earth
connection on the device with a
torque of 1.5 Nm.
3.
Connect the protective conductor
or equipotential bonding to the
earth connection of the cabinet or
plant in which the device is
installed.
