For further configuration follow the steps below:
1.
Specify the mode of the LINK in the "Gateway" parameter group:
"Network gateway as PROFINET IO proxy"
2.
Connect the PROFIBUS interface of the LINK to the PROFIBUS interface of the slave by
dragging the PROFIBUS interface of the LINK onto the slave with the mouse pointer.
The interface is connected and the slave assigned to the LINK.
The LINK is assigned an automatically generated PROFIBUS address.
3.
Connect the PROFINET interface of the LINK to the PROFINET interface of the IO
controller by dragging the Ethernet / PROFINET interface of the LINK onto the
PROFINET interface of the IO controller with the mouse.
The interface is connected and an automatically generated IP address is assigned to the
LINK, however the LINK is not yet assigned to an IO controller.
4.
If the LINK was not assigned to an IO controller, click on the text "Not assigned".
A window with all IO controllers in the project is opened.
5.
Click on the IO controller to which the LINK will be assigned.
As soon as the LINK is assigned to an IO controller, the controller name is shown in the
station icon of the LINK.
The LINK is assigned an automatically generated PROFINET device next when it is
assigned to an IO controller.
During startup the configuration data is automatically downloaded from the PROFINET IO
controller.
You configure the remaining parameters in the parameter groups of the LINK. Here, you can
also change the PROFINET device name.
