2.4.3 X302 Power supply 2 terminal block
Terminal block X302 may only be used for an additional PS300 when the system
requirements exceed 300 W. The housing (3HU) is the only housing that is capable of
having two PS300 supplies connected at the same time. No power supply (170 W)
may be connected to terminal block X302.
Terminal X301 must always have a power supply connected. When a single power
supply is used, it must be connected to terminal X301.
Check whether jumper X305 is in position 2-3 before PS300 #1 is connected to X301
or #2 to X302. Make sure line voltage is not present on the system, and that the
breaker in the panel is off. Both power supplies need to be connected before line
voltage is switched on at the panel. X301 and X302 should never be
connected/disconnect with line voltage present. Batteries may only be connected after
the system is brought up on line voltage power.

Designation
Description
1
BROO
(White) AC low signal. Signals when the supply system
connection drops below AC 102 V.
2
PSSI
(Green) Power supply status indication. Used by the
periphery board to know the health of the power supply.
3
GND
(Black) Return (ground)
4
+24 V
(Red) DC +24 V system supply
Admissible cable cross-section: 1 x 12…18 AWG or 2 x 16…18 AWG
2.4.4 X305 jumper – Power supply 2 on/off
This jumper is used to configure the periphery board for one or two power supplies.
The factory setting may only be changed when a second power supply (300 W) in an
housing (3HU) is supported.

Function
Meaning
1 - 2
Deactivated
PS 2 300 W
Default setting; for power supply (170 W) and a single power
supply (300 W).
2 - 3
Activated
PS 2 300 W
For a second power supply (300 W) in an housing (3HU).
The power supply is activated and is monitored by the system.
2.4.5 X304 Voice 24 V
The X304 connector on the periphery board provides the power for all Voice option
modules inside the VCA2002 Card Cage and for the connected peripherals. The cable
that connects X304 on the Periphery Board to X101 on the Card Cage is included in
the VCA2002's scope of supply.
