Current zero signal
Fundamentals
The test reveals whether the current zero signal is pending when the output current is zero.
In regular operation, no gaps in current occur. The delay angle of the thyristors is therefore
varied until gaps in the current occur.
Test procedure
1. The drive is in operation.
The current zero signal is displayed on the test station computer.
2. On the test station computer, the delay angle of the thyristors is lowered starting from 150°
until gaps in the current occur.
The progression of the current zero signal is displayed on the test station computer.
Result
The test is passed if the current gaps are symmetrically distributed over the current zero signal.
