Fundamentals
The fiber-optic cables are visually inspected to ensure that they have been installed as
specified in the circuit diagram and are correctly connected to the control module.
Test procedure
1. The following is inspected:
– Have edge protectors been attached to sharp edges?
– Does the cable installation correspond to the circuit diagram?
– Are the fiber-optic cables correctly connected to the control module? The white marking
on the fiber-optic cable must be just about visible.
Result
The inspection is passed if the cable installation does not exhibit any deficiencies and matches
the information in the circuit diagram.
