3 1/2" floppies
Disable physical write protection for 3 1/2" floppy disks
• If you want to be able to write data to your floppy disk again:
Slide the shutter in the opposite direction so that the rectangular opening is no
longer visible.

Inserting a 3 1/2" floppy disk
Hold the 3 1/2" floppy disk with the access slot for the read/write head facing
towards the drive and the round drive hub in the center of the floppy disk
facing downwards
(see Fig. 18).
Slide the floppy disk into the drive until it engages and the release button pops
out.
Removing a 3 1 /2" floppy disk
Do not attempt to the remove the floppy disk until the access LED on the drive has
gone out.
Press the release button.
The floppy disk is ejected part way out of the drive and you can then remove it
carefully.
