Basic configuration

Type 1 SCSI host adapter

If your system is fitted with a type 1 SCSI host adapter, you can connect the following

optional devices (maximum number in brackets), see also page 28:

Type 2 SCSI host adapter

If your system is fitted with a type 2 SCSI host adapter, you can connect the following

device (maximum number in brackets), see also page 28:

with 1 - 6 hard disks

Note: If you attach a SCSI device to the wrong type of host adapter, you could

damage the device.

Only the add-on unit for SCSI disk drives can be connected to a

type 2 SCSI host adapter. All other devices must be connected to a type 1 adapter.
