This manual contains operating instructions for the AEROPAC. Read the manual carefully before
you start using the equipment for the first time. Please preserve a copy of the present manual care-
fully.
Use and operation
Use
There are air openings on the sides of the housing
that you can close with sliders. This prevents un-
desired exchange of air with the environment.
With the easily controllable fan, you can spread the
filtered fresh air throughout the room. For this, open
the air openings at least to some extent.
Pressure-difference operation
When you switch off the
AEROPAC,
it works like
a pressure-difference ventilator. The ventilation then
takes place through the equalisation of air pressure
between the external air and the air in the room.
As a rule, the air from outside flows into the room.
The wind pressure of the airflow into the room
changes according to the weather conditions.
Change the slider positions to set the desired air
quantity.
Fan operation
Open at least one of the two air openings on the si-
de.
Switch on the unit by turning the adjusting wheel
clockwise. The background light of the adjusting
wheel will light up, indicating that the device is in
operation. The fan will run at its maximum output.
In the AEROPAC 90/90A, the high-speed stage is
also active, which gets switched-on electronically
shortly before the “OFF” position of the adjusting
wheel is reached.
Turn the adjusting wheel further to the right, to easily
reduce the amount of air inflow.
The markings on the adjusting wheel will make it
easier for you to find generally preferred settings.
