6.3 Setting
Sensing range setting
The sensing range is adjusted with the potentiometer (type: Multiturn, 7 rotations).
Clockwise rotation: sensing range increased; counterclockwise rotation: sensing range
reduced. It is recommended to place the object within the sensing range, e.g. see
table 19 . Once the sensing range has been adjusted, the object is removed from the
path of the beam, which causes the background to be suppressed. The digital output
changes [see
table 15 and table 18 ].
Adjustable sensing range: 100 mm ... 3000 mm.
