Power Management
This item determines the options of the power management function.
Max Saving
puts
the system into power saving mode after a brief period of system inactivity;
Min
Saving
is the same as
Max Saving
except the time of the system inactivity period is
longer; Disabled disables the power saving feature;
User Defined
allows you to set
power saving options according to your preference.
PM Control by APM
When enabled, and Advanced Power Management device will be activated to enhance
the Max. Power Saving mode and stop the CPU internal clock. If Advance Power
Management (APM) is installed on your system, selecting
Yes
give better power
savings.
If the Max. Power Saving is not enabled, this will be preset to
No
.
Video Off Option
When enabled, this features allows the VGA adapter to operate in a power saving
mode.
Always On : Monitor will remain on during power saving modes.
Suspend-->Off : Monitor blanked when the systems enters the Suspend mode.
Susp, Stby-->Off : Monitor blanked when the system enters either Suspend or Standby
modes.
All Modes-->Off : Monitor blanked when the system enters any power saving mode.
