For custom fence facing, make sure the screw heads
are countersunk completely below the surface of the
fence face.
9.
Insert the safety guard shaft into the work table
housing; tighten adjustment knob to lock guard shaft
in place (see
.Figure.12
).
10.
Connect the safety guard bar to the safety guard
shaft with (2) M8-1.25 x 12 bolts and 8mm flat
washers (see
.Figure.12
).
11.
Connect the safety guard to the safety guard bar
with (2) M4-.7 x 10 Phillips
head screws and M4-.7
hex nuts (see
.Figure.12
).
12.
Position the guard as close as possible to the
spindle/cutter without impeding the feeding path of
the workpiece, and tighten the safety guard shaft
knob.

" table insert over spindle, then hold
an 8mm open-end wrench on the spindle flats (see
Figure.13

Use a 14mm open-end wrench to tighten the
drawbar nut, (see
Figure.14
), but
DO.NOT
over-
tighten it.
