If you wish to use embedding agent, we recommend 2% carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) in water. The
typical resin agent such as OCT (Optimal Cutting Temperature) compound causes sensitivity decline
because the polymer adherents to the sections. If you cannot avoid using OCT, we ask you to make
sections outside the OCT as well.
If you wish to detect Lipids from sections, do not wash the sections with organic solvents, such as
Methanol or Xylene. The wash causes remarkable sensitivity decline.
