Delect Dir- if you want to turn the otherway to cath the reference sensor quicker.
If the dome is already on the reference position, there will be no motor movement.
Dome rotation test by incremental step
This function allows to check the dome will move by a predefined number of steps. In the case
below, the dome will move toward positive direction by 100 steps as defined by the rotational
encoder :
It is possible to watch the encoder value as the motor rotate the dome :
Enter a negative step value to move the other way :
During this test, look how many steps is required to make a complete 360° dome rotation.
Shelter Opening/Closure Test
Reminder : this is an optional feature depending on your dome configuration. It is not mandatory for
the Dome Tracker to work.
We remind you that there is no end-of-run management in dome mode within Dome Tracker. The
Dome Tracker acts like a remote control : a brief relay closure would trigger a signal to open the
shelter and a brief closure of another relay will trigger shelter closure.
Select « Do Open » to send that signal to open the shelter. It will go back to « Idle » after two or
three seconds (independantly of the real time needed for the shelter to fully open). And « Do
Close » will send the signal to close the shelter.
Emergency closure test
When S12 is closed, the emergency status switches to « ACTIVATED ». This allows an external
signal to trigger emergency closure of the dome shelter.
