EMPTYING THE WATER TANK
The device is equipped with an automatic water evaporation system. Circulating the
condensed water cools the compressor which not only improves the cooling performance but
also saves energy.
Should the water tank still fill up the respective indicator on the front display lights up and the
compressor stops automatically. The device is locked until the water tank is emptied.
To empty the condensed water tank, proceed as follows:
1. Pull the plug out of the outlet.
2. Place a catchment container underneath the
condensation outlet on the back of the device,
carefully remove the sealing cap and plug from the
outlet and drain the water into the catchment
container. Towards the end, slightly tilt the air
conditioning unit (no more than 30°) grabbing it at the handle
with one hand and at the upper edge of the air outlet with the other.
3. Once the tank is fully emptied carefully place the plug back in the water outlet and
screw the sealing cap back on.
4. Plug the device back in and start it up.
Permanent water drain
The permanent water drain is most effective when used with the dehumidification mode as
the latter produces lots of water and the automated water evaporation system is switched off:
Proceed as follows to install the permanent water drain:
1. Completely empty the water tank before attaching
a matching water drain hose (10mm) to the outlet.
2. Unscrew the plug of the condensation outlet for
permanent water drain and attach the water drain
hose.
3. Put the other end of the hose into a catchment
container or drain making sure that the hose is not
located higher than the drain valve and that it’s
not kinked.
4. Carefully re-attach the plug if you choose to
remove the permanent drain.
