MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
CLEANING THE AIR FILTER
To assure the air conditioning uni
t’s proper function you should clean the air filters every
week of operation.
The air filters are located in the air inlet guard.
10. Switch the device off prior to cleaning, wait a
few minutes and then pull the plug to
disconnect the device from mains.

Remove the air hose.
12. The air conditioning unit is equipped with two
air filters (top + bottom).
13. First remove the top guard on top of the air
filter. Don't use excessive force to make sure
you don't bend or damage the guard.
14. Then remove the air filter screws and take
the air filter out.
15. Remove the lower air filter by pulling it out
using the handle.
16. Use a vacuum to remove the dust that has
accumulated in the air filter.
17. In case the air filters are excessively dirty
you can immerse them in warm water and
wash them thoroughly
– mind, however, that the water temperature must not exceed
40°C.

Let the air filters dry thoroughly after washing them and place them back in the device
–
please re-attach the screws as they hold the air filters in place.
NOTE: Never use the device without the filters.
CLEANING THE HOUSING
Switch the device off prior to cleaning, wait a few minutes and then always the plug to
disconnect the device from mains.
Clean the device using a slightly damp cloth, follow up with a dry cloth.
For safety reasons never use water to clean the device. This could be dangerous.
Never use petrol, alcohol or solvents to clean the device.
Don’t spray insecticides or similar agents onto the air conditioning unit.
