Use this feature as a general purpose timer. Examples include:

timing boiled eggs cooked on the stove top.
timing the recommended standing time of food.

You can enter any time up to 99 minutes, 90 seconds. If you want to cancel the timer during the count down phase
simply press 

STOP/CLEAR

 and the display will return to showing the time of day.

* Suppose you want to set the timer for 3 minutes to boil an egg on the stove top.

Once the egg has
come to the boil in
the saucepan you
can start the timer.

Check the display.

The timer begins to count
down. When the timer

display.

Demonstration Mode

This feature is mainly for use by retail outlets, and also allows you to practice the key operation.

Press the 

STOP/CLEAR

 key and hold for 4 seconds. When the oven beeps, press the 

STOP/CLEAR

 key 4

times within 2 seconds. "MICROWAVE OVEN WITH HIGH SPEED CONVECTION PRESS ANY KEY FOR
DEMO MODE" will appear in the display.
Cooking operations can now be demonstrated with no power in the oven. For example, press 

INSTANT COOK/

START

 key, and the display will show  "1.00" and count down to zero at sixty times the speed. When the timer

reaches zero,  "END" will appear in the display.

To cancel, press the 

STOP/CLEAR

 key and hold for 4 seconds. When the oven beeps, press the 

STOP/CLEAR

key 4 times within 2 seconds. "DEMO OFF" will appear in the display.
