• Folder Area
The Folder Area allows you to access and save documents in an
Explorer-like interface.
• Application Link Area
This area is in the lower left corner of the SHARP Desktop window
and contains links to other applications, indicated by an icon. Just
click on the icon to bring up the linked application. Some links are
created automatically, but you can also create your own links.
• View Area
The View Area is where documents in the SHARP Desktop are
displayed. There are three ways to view documents to make it
easier to handle and edit them: List View, Thumbnail View and
Page View.
• Status Bar
Running along the very bottom of the SHARP Desktop window is
the Status Bar. Here various messages about activities in SHARP
Desktop are displayed, such as the name of the folder currently
opened, or the size and characteristics of a selected document.
The Status Bar can be hidden or displayed by selecting Toolbars
and then Status Bar in the View menu.
