In the field on the left that shows Speed Dial numbers and
Rapid Keys, click on the Rapid Key (one-touch dial key) or
Speed Dial number (two-digit abbreviated dialing number)
that you wish to program.
(To expand a list, click on the “+”.)
(For more information on Rapid Key and Speed Dial numbers, see
Chapter 3 of the Operation Manual.)
2
In the Key Mode field, select Normal Dial for a fax number,
E-mail for an E-mail destination, or Chain Dial for an area
or access code.
(Note: Programming an area code or access code as a Chain
Dial number allows you to automatically dial that area/access
code by pressing a Rapid Key or entering a Speed Dial
number. You can then dial the rest of the fax or voice number
by any of the dialing methods explained in Chapter 3 of the
Operation Manual.)
3
Enter the name of the destination in the Name field.
4
If you selected Normal Dial or Chain Dial for the Key Mode,
enter the fax number or area/access code in the Number
box. When finished, go to Step 6.
