5.6.2 Equipotential 

bonding 

-  The housing of the leak detector is to be incorporated into the 

equipotential bonding of the entire system using the bolts provid-
ed. 

-  The fittings in the connection lines also need to be integrated into 

the equipotential bonding system, particularly if plastic pipes (con-
nection lines to the tank) have been used. 

-  Before replacing a leak detector, disconnecting lines or similar 

work, ensure that equipotential bonding is maintained (pull electri-
