Notes on PE connection and/or equipotential bonding
WARNING
Electric shock due to incorrect connection of PE.
Severe, fatal injuries.
• The permitted tightening torque for the screw is 2.0 to 2.4 Nm
(18 to 21 lb.in)
• Observe the following notes regarding the PE connection:

Leakage currents ≥ 3.5 mA can occur during normal operation. To meet the require-
ments of EN 61800-5-1, observe the following notes:
• The protective earth (PE) connection must meet the requirements for plants with
high earth-leakage currents.
• This usually means
– installing a PE connection cable with a minimum cross section of 10 mm
2
– or installing a second PE connection cable in parallel with the original PE con-
nection.
