®

 conveyor system with ECIO configured in the system and activated t rans -

parency mode 

In applications where an ECIO module is installed between two ECC-DFC modules t hat  
need  to  maintain  their  logical  upstream  to  downstream flow; the Transparency Option 
instructs the ECIO module to automatically pass through the conveyor flow s t at us  data 
between its ECC-DFC neighbors. This in essence makes the EC

IO “transparent” to the 

conveyor flow.  The conveyor will operate as if the two ECC-DFC conveyor controllers are 
connected to each other as illustrated in the next Figure. 

 

 

Activating and deactivating transparency mode 

Transparency is enabled by default during Auto-Configuration.  Disabling Trans parenc y 
mode is done on the ECShell main screen by clicking the check box as shown
