Logic and output power
The EC IO module is designed to allow for separate power connections for module logic
and digital outputs power so that separate power supplies can power these. For ex am-
ple, the digital outputs power supply can switched off so that all output devices have
power removed. With the outputs power separately switched off; the logic power s upply
can remain on so that the module’s communications can remain active and report s tatus
to networked supervisory control system(s).
