IMPORTANT! Before inserting batteries or connecting to the mains, always make sure that the Auto Sew
button
(Y)
is in the off position (up position).
If you are using batteries, insert x 4 AA batteries into the battery compartment
(B)
on the underside
of the machine. Always use high power alkaline or rechargeable batteries.
If you are connecting the machine to the mains power, plug the AC adaptor cable into the AC/DC
Jack
(P)
at the right hand side of the machine. Then plug the AC adaptor into the wall mains.
It is recommended that you remove all batteries before connecting the machine to the mains.

Press the Light button
(Z)
down to switch on the light.
De-pressing the button (button in up position) will switch off the light.
Pressing down the Auto Sew Mode button
(Y)
will put the machine into auto sew mode.
In this mode the machine will continuously stitch without the need for the foot pedal.
De-pressing the button (button in up position) will return the machine to manual mode and the foot
pedal will be required to start stitching (recommended for beginners).
Pressing down the speed button
(X)
will change the speed at which the machine stitches to slow.
De-pressing the button (button in up position) will return the machine to normal speed.

Make sure The Auto Sew Mode button
(Y)
is in the off position (up position) when using the foot pedal.
Plug the foot pedal jack
(M)
into right hand side of the machine.
Turn machine on by pressing the foot pedal.
Press gently on the foot pedal to begin stitching. When you are finished sewing a seam, ease your foot
up and off the foot pedal to stop.
