Machine could be jammed

Power Off. Check for blockages.
Lift up footplate and wind hand
wheel to lift the needle. Remove
any material and or tangled
thread. Make sure there is no
damage to thread or needle,
rethread if needed.

Thread keeps snapping /
jamming.

Stitching is messy and not even or
fabric is bunching up when I sew.

Release tension by turning
tensioner anti clockwise

Threaded incorrectly.

Rethread machine as per
instructions.

Tension is too tight

Lower footplate when sewing

Release tensioner fully by turning
anti-clockwise and make sure
machine is threaded correctly.

If thread is sewing too loosely,
tighten tensioner until desired
threading is achieved.

If thread is sewing too tightly,
loosen tensioner until desired
threading is achieved.

The needle is blunt or bent or not
right for the type of fabric you
using.

Replace needle as directed in
the instructions.

There is fluff or dust in the path of
the thread

Sewing started too close to the
edge.

Ensure that your fabric clean and
free from fluff.

Avoid starting your sewing from
the edge of the fabric.
