Using the baking tray or rack
1. Ensure that the crumb tray is properly installed below the two lower
heating elements.
2. Ensure that the appliance is connected to the mains.
3. Use the temperature control to set the required temperature.
HINT:
Pre-heat the oven!
Depending on the recipe, it may be necessary
to pre-heat the oven before the actual cooking
process. If the cooking instructions do not
speci

cally require pre-heating, omit steps 4 - 6.
4. Select the upper/lower heat heating level

5. Set the timer to 10 minutes.

A quiet ticking sound can be heard from the timer.
6. Wait until the pre-programmed time has elapsed, and an acoustic signal
is heard.

7. Put the food on the baking tray or rack.
HINT:
To prevent fat and other

uids from dripping into the
interior, always use the baking tray when cooking
food with a high fat content.
8. Slide the baking rack or tray into one of the guide slots and close the
door.
HINT:
You can also prepare two dishes at the same time
by putting the baking rack and tray into different
slots. However, the cooking time may be longer in
this case.
9. Set the required heating level.
10. Use the timer to select the desired cooking time.

Check frequently on the degree of browning through the oven window.
