Proper use
The oven must only be used for cooking, heating or
re-heating food. Only the original accessory parts
(baking tray, baking rack) may be
fi
tted inside the
appliance.
The oven is intended for domestic or similar
applications, such as
• by staff members in shops, of
fi
ces and other
similar working environments,
• by customers in hotels, motels etc. and similar
establishments,
• in agricultural working environments,
• in bed-and breakfast type environments.
Any other use must be considered improper and may
lead to personal injuries or material damage.
Improper use
• Do not use the oven to cook food which is likely
to touch the heating elements or the inside of the
oven.
• The oven is not intended to be operated by
means of an external timer or separate remote-
control system.
• The oven is not intended for drying clothing or any
other type of object or utensil.
• The oven must only be operated with the crumb
tray properly installed below the heating elements.
• Do not use the oven to heat up food still sealed in
tins.
• When processing food that is likely to expand (eg
yeast dough), ensure suf
fi
cient distance from the
heating elements (see also Chapter
4
'
Setting up
the oven
').
• The appliance must not be used as an electric
heater.
