To Service Main Diaphragm (11d)

Remove top cap

Mark or measure position of adjustment at start. Use this to
return adjustment to original setting during reassembly.

Remove bolts

On standard Regulators and Differential Regulators, remove
bolts

Use a screwdriver in slot in top end of stem

prevent stem from turning and loosen and remove nut

Disassemble diaphragm assembly

When reassembling, use screwdriver per step 4 above to
prevent stem

from turning while firmly tightening

. Excessive turning of stem could strain or damage
seal diaphragm

Rim bolts

should be first made finger tight. Next, insert

and compress it slightly with adjustment

Then tighten screws a little at a time until all are firm and
secure. There must be no leakage around the rim, but

must not be crushed, twisted or pinched.
To Service Orifice (19 or 20)

Remove bolts

For orifice

and adjustment

. Mark or measure the position of adjustment

beforehand and return it to the same place at reassembly.

Unscrew orifice

" hex socket wrench.
When replacing orifice, use a moderate amount of pipe joint
compound on orifice threads.
To Service Valve (15)
1.
Remove bolts

On Back Pressure Regulators and Relief Valves, remove
diaphragm assembly per section “To Service Main Diaphragm

)”, remove bolts

and lower case

, and remove
assemblies

intact and bushing

2.
Remove retaining ring

. Use Truarc 0200 pliers, Sensus
Part Number 1190646.
3.
Remove both halves of valve holder 1

and remove valve

4.
Reassemble.
