  Activate Tare/Zero

SYNOPSIS

F1

 - Activates Tare/Zero operation

DESCRIPTION

The Tare function forces the presently applied load on the transducer to be
read as zero.

To deactivate the Tare/Zero function, you can send the 

F2

 command.

The PIM-3 will not send a response after this command has been processed.

This command is a universal command.  Sending this command for the spe-
cial address of “FF” will cause all PIM-3’s on the communications link to pro-
cess the command.

EXAMPLE

#00F1

The above command, when followed by a carriage return, will cause the
instrument addressed as "00" to activate the Tare/Zero function and force
the data to read zero.
