Arrow on the value 5 will give you 50, and then by pressing the Up or Down Arrow will
decrease or increase the value you were focused on, for example pressing the Up Arrow from
50 will give you 49 or pressing the Down Arrow from 50 will give you 51. Press the OK key on
the heading you want to go to and you will hear the device say Going to Heading xx, where
xx is the heading number, and reading begins.
9.4.3.
Reading Voice
You can select a voice other than the system voice when reading a file or book. To do this,
press the Menu key, Down Arrow twice to Voice, press the Right Arrow to the name of the
voice and press the OK key to save the selection.
9.4.4.
Reading Speed
This option allows you to control the speed at which the file or book is read back to you.
There are 31 different speed levels to choose from. Press the Menu key and Down Arrow 3
times to the Speed option, use the Left or Right Arrow key to select a different reading
speed. Minus 10 is the lowest rate, with 0 referring to the normal rate and 20 being the
highest rate. Press the OK key to confirm your selection.
9.4.5.
Background Music Volume Control
The Sensory PBR has the ability to allow you the comfort of listening to a file or book while at
the same time listening to some pre-installed instrumental music to enhance your listening
pleasure. This option allows you to control the volume of the background music when
listening to a file or book. Press the Menu key and then Down Arrow to the option
Background Music Volume. Use the Right or Left Arrow key to navigate between the different
settings. You will hear options like 1 to 9, 2 to 8 and so on. The first value refers to the
reading volume and the second value refers to the volume level of the background music.
Press the OK key on your preferred choice. If you do not want any background music playing,
navigate to the option Background Music Volume Disabled and press the OK key.
9.4.6.
Selecting the Background Music
Press the Menu key then Down Arrow to the option Select Background Music. Press the Left
or Right Arrow key to navigate between the options and press the OK key on your selection.
9.5.
Using the Turning Mode Options
While reading a file or book, press the Up or Down Arrow key to select from the different turning
mode options. They include 1%, 10%, Page, Paragraph, Sentence, Word, Letter and Spell options.
Once you have navigated to the turning mode option, press the Right or Left Arrow key to move to
